November is here! We can feel the crisp in the air and like everyone else are in the mood for anything pumpkin. Even though wedding season 2014 is over, at the Bon Wed office we are already working on planning and design for our 2015 weddings. (And we would love to work with more new Brides for 2015 if you are new to the site! Contact us!) We love that these jewel tones are so versatile with really any time of the year and we see the trend continuing well into 2015.

NYFW 2014 Inspiration | Bon Wed San Diego Wedding Planner

We find inspiration for design all around us that we are constantly soaking up. One of those undoubtedly large influence on wedding design is fashion! How beautiful great fashion designs can translate into gorgeous wedding inspirations. We've been enjoying the beautiful outfits displayed in last month's New York fashion week.

The greatest thing to recieve in the mail...

Received such a kind and thoughtful thank you note today from our Bon Wed bride and groom.

This is where it's at, folks. To make a wedding day run well and beautiful and to have a happy bride and groom— it's such a fulfilling feeling that reminds Bon Wed how much we love what we do. The design is fun and the planning is exciting, but having a couple be elated with the outcome is much better than anything.

Bon Wed visits Anna Be, Denver, CO

Today Bon Wed ventured over to Anna Be, Denver! What a beautiful wedding dress shop and we couldn't be more excited to view all these beautiful gowns. The textures were amazing and the variety had us wanting them all. Not to mention, their space has amazing character on its own.  All together, a gorgeous experience!

Bon Wed is based in San Diego and Denver (no travel fees for either location)

I'm so excited to announce that Bon Wed's Jewel tones wedding shoot was featured in the UK's top wedding magazine, Wedding Magazine! We are honored to be posted in such a popular magazine especially when the UK has such amazing and unique style!  Thank you to the great vendors and contributors on the shoot- we are so glad it turned out so amazing that we can receive this international exposure!

Although we can't release specifics of what is to come, we are having a wonderful time creating customized design for this Bon Wed Bride. Bon Wed does Big Sur: inspiration board

Bon Wed has had the privilege of designing a beautiful destination wedding in Big Sur, CA! In our inspiration, we were inspired by fresh herbs and lush greens, simple yet elegant. The reception venue is actually not able to let you know the menu ahead of time because it is that fresh! It's the catch of the day and the freshly picked produce of the week! Definitely  a menu that is customized to their special day. We thought it would be neat to pull from those fresh elements and create something classic and effortless to match Big Sur's effortless beauty. Below is the inspiration board!

Although this hot San Diego summer weather has stayed strong, Fall is almost heer and I can't wait to begin the preparation for Bon Wed's next wedding season. Feeling something fabulous is just around the corner...

I love that we are seeing more and more of these beautiful bare cakes! It speaks a little more simplicity and wholesomeness yet they have us salivating at the sight! They look effortless yet are still catching our eye with beautiful florals for topping.
